We have finally arrived at the final series of the regular season. The Blue Jays will finish out the year by playing the Tampa Bay Rays, who still have a lot of play for. Cleveland looks to be falling out of the race (you love to see it) but home field for the wild card game is up for grabs.
Kevin Cash jokingly asked Charlie Montoyo if he’s keeping some guys out of the lineup this weekend as the Rays try to clinch.

Montoyo: “He did but I told him Vladdy’s kind of struggling right now so don’t worry about it.”#BlueJays
It sounds like Justin Smoak will get a chance to play one more time at the Rogers Center, if it is his last time. #ExtendSmoak
Montoyo says that he expects to start Justin Smoak on Sunday. Says he’s one of the best he’s ever been around. A total pro, even during a down year. All the kids love him, he’d like to have him back. #Bluejays

And, some good news:

Here are tonight’s lineups. Vlad gets bumped down to 5th, McKinney leads off again (#CharlieTingle?), and Ureña is back in at shortstop.
