Today, the Toronto Blue Jays have graced us with the gift of their 2020 promotional and event schedule. Mark your calendars folks, because there are some solid giveaways coming up:

We have some familiar ones in here, in the return of Pride Night (giveaway rainbow towel), Loonie Dog night (please note the maximum of 4 per person, Matt W), Country Day (featuring an “army green” Blue Jays hat that was definitely not designed specifically for the “not celebrated in Canada” Memorial Day), and Star Wars day (Chewbacca messenger bag).
Our replica jerseys this year will don both Randal Grichuk’s (July 31 vs the Orioles) and Hyun-Jin Ryu’s (June 26 vs the Angels) names on the back. Ryu also has a “Designed Hat” giveaway on Aug 29. I cannot tell you what a designed hat will look like.
New this year are a couple notable events. There is a Hello Kitty Day (bobblehead giveaway), a Yoga Day (yoga mat giveaway), a Marvel Day (Spiderman figurine giveaway), Peanuts Day and my personal favourite, Sitcom Night (FRIENDS shirt giveaway. Could I *BE” anymore excited?)
We also have some first time bobbleheads this year. Bo Bichette and his hair were granted one (Aug 3 vs Tampa Bay), and Cavan Biggio gets one celebrating his 2019 “hit for the cycle” (May 18 vs the Houston Asterisks). Vlad Jr managed to be blessed with two; one with a homer run counter on opening weekend, (which IMO is pretty brilliant), and another with his father (on Canada Day, to avoid a repeat of 2019’s fiasco).
Under the new and creative category, we have a Gurriel Jr “Piña Power” Hawaiian shirt (June 6), and a Blue Jays puffy vest (Sept 18).
