Hall of Fame Poll Results

I figured it was time to post the Hall of Fame poll results. It appears we are Scrooges. If we were the voters, only one name would be added to the Hall of Fame. And he was a bit of a surprise to me.

Gary Sheffield hit the 75% cut off for membership into the Hall of Fame. I think he is deserving of the honor, but I don’t have high hopes that the Writers will invite him in.

Barry Bonds, Scott Rolen and Todd Helton fall just a bit short. And Roger Clemens, Manny Ramirez, Billy Wagner, Andruw Jones and Mark Buehrle made it to 50%

Sammy Sosa was the lowest in the polls (though I skipped players who, I felt, wouldn’t get votes), but he stayed over the 5% that would be needed to keep him on the ballot.
