Today’s game is on TV, yay.
But then Jesse Goldberg-Strassler is sharing the radio booth with Mike Wilner, so I might have the TV on but listen to the radio feed.
I was hoping Alford would be in the lineup. I’d like to watch a couple of his at bats.
Anthony Kay gets the start.
We've got ourselves a starting lineup! @BlueJays at Tigers from Lakeland, @Wilnerness590 and I on the call at 1 pm, thereabouts. pic.twitter.com/5gammNrmLL

I’m liking the idea of trading Reese McGuire for a center fielder, but I’m not sure there is one out there that anyone would want to give up.
Anyone with an strong feeling about Yasiel Puig? He’s still unsigned. If if is a choice between him and Drury/Alford in right field would that have you thinking more fondly of Puig? Yeah I guess not. I’m eagerly awaiting OOTP 21. I’m sure my first order of business would be to find a center fielder I can live with. And then maybe a right fielder.
In the scandal that never ends:
If it makes anyone feel better, there’s no doubt Astros players are suffering for their shenanigans. Some of them seem sad; with others it feels like they’ve lost their edge. Prediction: It’s going to be a long season and they will very likely underperform.

Yeah, the guys with the ‘Hate Us’ tee shirts are depressed and contrite.
The Yankees have had a few injuries already this spring. Giancarlo Stanton, who only played 18 games last season is now hurt again.
And Domingo German may or may not have been in a car accident today.
Héctor Gómez says he did:

The Yankees say he didn’t:
According to the Yankees, who spoke to German’s agent, German was not involved in the accident in the D.R. A friend of his was and German stopped to assist him

German has 63 games left on a domestic violence suspension.
