That was just a mess of a game. Wind blowing out. 11 home runs hit between the two teams, four of them ours. I’d pretty much ignore the stats, I don’t think there is much of value in them.
Chase Anderson had a good first inning, gave up a solo homer in the second. In the third he gave up a natural cycle, single, double play, double, triple and home run, before getting out of the inning. He gave up a walk and yet another homer in the fourth inning before being pulled. It seemed like anything hit in the air had a good chance of clearing the wall.
- Jake Petricka: 1 inning, giving up just a walk, after coming in for Chase.
- Ken Giles: 1 inning, 1 k. Pretty much making him the star pitcher of the game.
- Anthony Bass: 1 inning, 2 hits, 1 earned.
- TJ Zeuch: 1 inning, 4 hits, 6 runs, 3 earned (a Logan Warmoth error helped open the floodgates), hit batter, 1 k, 2 home runs.
- Ryan Dull: 4 hits, 6 earned, 1 walk, hit batter, 2 home runs, no outs.
- Marc Rzepczynski: 1 inning. got the 3 outs of the inning Dull started. Yay Scrabble.
- Sean Reid-Foley: 1inning, 2 hits, 2 strikeouts.
On the offensive side, we had 12 hits and 13 runs.
- Bo Bichette: 1 for 2, hit by pitch. Hitting .250 on the spring.
- Joe Panik: 1 for 3, home run, his second of the spring. .333.
- Lourdes Gurriel: 3 for 3, double. .333.
- Randal Grichuk: 1 for 3, k, home run. .235.
- Rowdy Tellez: 0 for 1, k, hit by pitch twice. .263.
