The other day we asked for you five favorite TV comedies, this time let’s ask for your five favorite TV dramas.
It’s a pretty tough question. I think my favorite was Breaking Bad. I kind of thought it went on a couple of episodes too long. I thought the one where Hank was killed would have been a perfect ending, but that’s kind of a minor complaint.
I’ve very much enjoyed Better Call Saul. The last one of this season had me wondering if it was a better who than Breaking Bad. Bob Odenkirk is terrific in it.

I’ve also really enjoyed Killing Eve. I’m not sure if it deserves to be in my top five yet, but it likely will.
I really liked West Wing. I wish it was on Netflix so I could watch it again. Especially in the current political climate, it would be nice to think that smart people could be running the White House and could care about people.
NYPD Blue was a favorite for years too. Again I would like if it was on Netflix, but I have a feeling it wouldn’t age all that well. But then I’d lie to watch it again.
I don’t know what would be number 5 on my list. I did really like Northern Exposure (another one that should be on Netflix). I’m not sure if it is one that would seem as good now as it did back then.
Another one I liked a lot was Marvelous Mrs Maisel. I think the second second was as good as TV gets.
Or maybe House deserves a spot on the list? I liked the show but I always thought that House didn’t get punched enough. I mean he got shot and he had the cop try to make his life miserable, but he should have been punched every episode.
I’m sure I’ve missed some that should be on my list. As soon as I see them on your lists I’ll be saying “yes that one”.
