This was Sunday’s game.
I think it is time for sim Ross to release sim Chase Anderson.
Chase went 6 innings, allowed 7 hits, 6 earned, 1 walk with 4 strikeouts. His ERA is now 8.12. Anthony Bass was even worse, allowing 4 hits and 4 runs while getting just 1 out. Jordan Romano picture the last 1.2 innings, giving up another 4 runs.
On offense, we did get 11 hits, and Cavan Biggio hit his 3rd home run in the 2 weekend games. He is up to 8 home runs now, and his average is working it’s way to .200 (.194 now). Randal Grichuk had 3 hits. Lourdes Gurriel had 2.
Added to the fun, we had 2 baserunners thrown out on the bases. Rowdy Tellez was thrown out at the plate and Gurriel was thrown out at third.
On the Tigers’ side, the star of the game was C.J. Cron, who was 5 for 5, with a home run and 5 RBI. Kennys Vargas had 2 home runs and 4 RBI. Dawel Lugo was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI.
The Jays are now 42-30.

Monday is an off-day, so I’m caught up again. Then we have 3 games, at home, against the Rays, followed by a 6-game road trip through Pittsburgh and Milwaukee.
