I got nothing today.
Well, a couple of things. First:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE!
I hope you can find a way to celebrate in the strange world we find ourselves in. Maybe next year we can find a way to have a big meet up to celebrate with you.
There is this, but I don’t really want to talk about it:
MLB owners are holding conference cal today. Will let commissioner Manfred know whether to implement short season (as allowed by March 26 agreement) or make a 2nd straight proposal. Early word: not much appetite for making another proposal

Baseball seems to try to push me away. The season my Expos have an amazing team, they lockout the players and we don’t have a World Series.
Then they work really hard to kill off my Expos. I guess there was also many years of Gord Ash being GM, which really hurt my fandom, but that wasn’t really MLB’s doing.
Now the owners suggest the same proposal a few times and try to blame the players for not taking it. I wish there was some actual negotiations going on. Some give and take. But we seem to have both sides saying ‘my way or no way’ and no attempt to find a middle ground.
