This week’s SB Theme week was on video games. I don’t play video games anymore, I did years ago. but, for an old guy, there is too many buttons on joysticks now. My kids will occasionally get me playing something, mostly because they think it is funny that I can’t figure out the controllers.
I played in video arcades when I was young, putting quarters into machines. I often claim that the reason I wear glasses is that I played Star Castle in dark arcades until tears were running down my face from the radiation coming off the game.
Star Castle was a great game. I really would like to find refinished arcade game for my house. I keep doing google searches but I’ve had no luck.
In the early days of computers, I played a game called Loderunner for far too many hours.
Later I played Castle Wolfenstein and Doom way too much.
But then came children and lie and I didn’t have time to play as much as I once did. Now I play Out of the Park Baseball, but I don’t know if that counts as a video game.
Anyway, tell us about your favorite video game.
