Going into the All-Star break, the Blue Jays are 59-38, 4 games up on the Yankees for first in the AL East.
I thought I’d post the Jays player’s stats, since we have 2 more off-days. Tomorrow I’ll post the stats for the farm system.
Jays batter stats for the first half. The only batters who are hitting worse than I would hope is Cavan and maybe Vlad. Vlad’s not doing that bad. He’s on a hot streak (.389/.431/.685 in 12 July games). And Cavan has come on lately, he’s doing great in July too (.304/.418/.543 in 11 games).

On the pitching side, Nate Pearson and Hyun-Jin Ryu have been terrific and the bullpen has been good. The bottom end of the rotation has been terrible. Shoemaker has been some better, the team has won his last 4 starts.
