The Blue Jays have added Nate Pearson to the active roster, not that this is a surprise. Brian Moran moves from the active roster to the Taxi Squad.
Moran pitched in 2 games, adding up to an inning, with 1 hit and 1 strikeout. Being a LOOGY puts you on the endangered species list, though I’m sure he’ll be back at some point.
Bo Bichette and Randal Grichuk will still be out for today.
If you wanted to bet on which manager will be the first to be fired this year (I’m thinking that fewer than normal managers will be fired, since it is such a short season), there are odds for that (from Sportsbetting.ag):

Or if you want to bet that they won’t complete the season:
Will there be a World Series?:

The Dodgers/Astros stuff was interesting. I’m not for hitting batters, but I’m especially not for throwing at heads. That stuff should never happen. And trying to trip someone up at first base is childish and, as we have seen with Troy Tulowitzki, it can lead to an incredibly painful and career threatening injury.
If you have to hit someone, throw at the hip. Or, you know, don’t throw at anyone.
Apparently we’ll have some home game type stuff. The Jays players will get their walkup music and the announcer will be a bit more ramped up announcing the Jays names. And there is to be a Jays video up
