I am sure I was not the only Blue Jays fan who yelled audibly when Bo Bichette hit Toronto’s first-ever home run at Buffalo’s Sahlen Field during the 2020 Home Opener. But it wasn’t Bo’s first homer there—he hit eight of them in the 56 games he spent in triple-A last year. “Buffalo Bo” had a tremendous night on Thursday night as well, first shortstop in MLB history to reach base six times, homer, and steal two bases in one game!
To celebrate the Blue Jays playing in Buffalo, our partner BreakingT has designed this fantastic t-shirt featuring Bo Bichette’s home run swing while wearing the new powder blue uniforms that were also introduced during the Home Opener. The design is printed on a heather navy blue tee (to match the colour of the new caps) rather than the usual royal blue that we have used for other Blue Jays players.
I will be getting one for myself as a souvenir of this very, very strange Major League Baseball season.
Anyone who has purchased a BreakingT shirt will tell you that they are very soft and comfortable to wear, especially since they have gotten rid of the collar tag. They are also very durable (the original Jose Bautista bat flip shirt from 2015 still looks—and feels—like new!). This Buffalo Bo shirt is an officially licensed product of the Major League Baseball Players Association, meaning they are legit and the players are compensated for the use of their name and image. We play fair.
