The Jays made a roster move this morning:
Daniel Vogelbach was added to the active roster and Sean Reid-Foley has been sent back to the alternative training site.
And Taijuan Walker has arrived and will be wearing 00:

I liked when catchers wore 00.
Kevin Pillar can not read the room:
Kevin Pillar, who was suspended by the Blue Jays for yelling an anti-gay slur at Jason Motte in 2017, still just doesn’t get it.https://t.co/xv9sNEXa19 pic.twitter.com/mVbod9v1hl

I’m sorry, it isn’t time for All Lives Matter Kevin.
Tops is making a Jackie Robinson card.

In the Athletic, Linsey Adler writes about the first Tommy John surgery.
Now 77 years old, John can proudly report that while many other parts of his body cause him aches and pains, his left elbow still feels great. His decision in the 1970s to allow Jobe to try something the surgeon hardly believed would work, along with his successful recovery and 14-year career following the procedure, changed the game of baseball forever. Look at any major-league roster today, you’re likely to spot multiple pitchers (or a position player) who underwent UCL reconstruction surgery at least once.
