Jays Roster Move: Fisher to IL, McKinney up

The Blue Jays put Derek Fisher on the IL with a left quad strain and have activated Billy McKinney. I think this is going to be the season for strains and ‘soft tissue’ injuries.

Fisher was hitting .250/.400/.500 with a double and a triple in his 6 games.

McKinney hit .215/.274/.422 with 12 home runs in 84 games last year. I’d imagine he and Alford will platoon some, when one of the regular outfielders takes the DH spot.
