Bo Bichette ‘expected’ to be activated today

We knew this was likely to happen today, but Shi tells us that Bo Bichette is expected to be activated today.

Who will be leaving the active roster to make room is a good question. I was expecting that it would be Santiago Espinal, but I’m thinking it will be Jacob Waguespack. he threw a lot of pitches yesterday, so since he won’t be pitching again for 2 or 3 days at best, it makes a lot of sense that it would be him.

Other bits of news:

  • Teoscar Hernandez has been running and hitting off a tee. He might be back sooner than we thought.
  • Rowdy Tellez has been riding a stationary bike.
  • Alejandro Kirk will play today
