The Jays are looking to bounce back from a rough one yesterday and even up the series. Thankfully, Bo Bichette is back, which will go a long way to making that happen. Jacob has been sent waguespacking once again after valiantly eating some innings yesterday.
Since it’s a day that ends in y, we have some injury updates:
Updates from #BlueJays manager Charlie Montoyo:
— Shi Davidi (@ShiDavidi) September 12, 2020
-- Alejandro Kirk makes debut tonight
-- Bo Bichette will slide right back into No. 2 spot in order
-- Teoscar Hernandez progresses to hitting off tee after rotational exercises
-- Rowdy Tellez begins riding stationary bike
Asked Montoyo before the game if #BlueJays would look to get Kirk at-bats at DH. "I want to see what he looks like and we'll go from there." Said starting both catchers at once is less than ideal but it's something they might be willing to do. Worth monitoring this situation.

Here are today’s lineups. Bichette is back at shortstop and batting second, Alejandro Kirk will make his major league debut as catcher, batting 8th, and Cavan Biggio gets another start in right.
