GameThread Game #56: Yankees at Blue Jays

MLB: New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports

The Blue Jays are looking for the series split once again, and potentially are able to clinch a playoff spot tonight. However, a lot of things have to happen first:

  • The Angels must lose to San Diego
  • The Mariners must lose to Houston
  • The Tigers must lose to Minnesota
  • The Blue Jays must win tonight

We have some injury updates:

Here are today’s lineups that will try to do their part to clinch. Shaw is back in after being scratched for back spasms yesterday, Bichette gets a DH day and no Captain Kirk tonight. The Yankees lineup today is pretty strong.
