The long weekend is officially underway, but it is currently 33C here and I’m melting.

The Jays have another opportunity to pull ahead in the second place race with the Yankees. After a double header yesterday, a couple regulars are sitting out today but hopefully they can still pull out a win.

Caleb Joseph has been added to the roster and Reese McGuire has been optioned down.

Here are today’s lineups. With Biggio out, Villar is leading off, Vlad plays first and Derek Fisher gets another start.

Today's Lineups

Jonathan Villar - SS Alex Verdugo - RF
Randal Grichuk - CF Rafael Devers - 3B
Rowdy Tellez - DH Xander Bogaerts - SS
Teoscar Hernandez - RF J.D. Martinez - DH
Travis Shaw - 3B Christian Vazquez - C
Vladimir Guerrero - 1B Yairo Munoz - LF
Joe Panik - 2B Jackie Bradley - CF
Danny Jansen - C Michael Chavis - 2B
Derek Fisher - LF Bobby Dalbec - 1B
Chase Anderson - RHP Ryan Weber - RHP
