Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Blue Jays fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

Despite being just over a month from Opening Day, the baseball season has simultaneously passed the midway point and reached the home stretch of the season.

The small sample size of the first half of the season is about to be put to the test. Were the first few weeks of play a fluke, or the sign of each team for 2020? Of course, part of that equation is fan expectations heading into the year.

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, the first half of the season has gone better than expected for most Blue Jays fans.

Along those same lines, confidence in the team has grown as the season has progressed. A full 100 percent of responding fans said they believed Toronto was headed in the right direction, an uptick from 84 percent earlier in the year.

I’d have more confidence if we could go a few days without a one-run game, but the season has been a lot of fun.
