Blue Jays to start season in Dunedin

I think we all knew this was the way it was going to be, but Shi Davidi tells us that it is official, the Blue Jays will start the season in Dunedin.

The team will play there through to May 2nd and then reassess before their next homestand starting May 14th.

I’m happy they have it all decided. Last year’s mess of trying to find a home park didn't show the team in the best light.

And the Padres have signed Fernando Tatis to a 14-year contract extension, worth $340, which has me working very hard not to figure out how old I will be when the contract is over. There is a little scene in MASH where Radar is accused of stealing something and is told he could get 15 years in prison, and he says, “I’ll be going to jail in my puberty and not coming out until my adultery!”.

I’m sure Bo Bichette is wondering what he could get in a contract extension.
