The 2021 Blue Jays ZiPS projections are out. Over the next few weeks, we’ll put up a series of over/under polls, using the batter’s OPS and the pitcher’s ERA as predicted by ZiPS.
Danny Jansen’s up. ZiPS predicts a .746 OPS. That would be a step up from last year’s .671 or 2019’s .640. They have him hitting 17 home runs in 417 PA. I have my doubts about the plate appearances. We have several choices at catcher. Getting a full season of at-bats might be tough unless he starts really strong.
Let us know if you think he’ll have a higher or lower OPS.
