It’s Sunday fun day! Four days and two Grapefruit League games left to go.
Today the Jays welcome in the Tigers, with Ross Stripling on the mound. Ross was a guest on this week’s At the Letters podcast - it’s definitely worth a listen!
Here’s your heartwarming tweet of the day:
An excited Jonathan Davis spoke to the media, the day after he was told he cracked his first opening day roster:

- When Montoyo told him, he asked, “for real?”
- texted his wife Hannah,
“WE made the roster!”

We have some injury updates:
From what I'm hearing, T.J. Zeuch appears to have the inside track to replace Robbie Ray in the rotation. His velocity has been up this spring and #BlueJays have been encouraged by what they see. Kay's leg contusion not expected to factor into decision because it's minor issue.

Based on what I've been told, #BlueJays should have a better read on Springer's availability for Opening Day by tomorrow. He will undergo more tests to see how much the oblique has healed. Springer wants to play, but Jays need to be cautious, you don't mess around with obliques.
