Mets sign Lindor for 10 years, $341 million

MLB: Houston Astros at New York Mets Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Francisco Lindor and the Mets have come to an agreement, 10-years for $341 million. Roughly what SB paid me for the last ten years (if you take out the word million).

The contract starts in 2022, so don’t hit him up for a loan until next year.

The Mets traded Isaiah Greene, Josh Wolf, Andres Gimenez, and Amed Rosario to Cleveland for Lindor and Carlos Carrasco.

The Mets new owner is spending some money, nice for their fans. Lindor had said he wanted the deal in place before the start of the season. Lindor rejected a $325 offer just the other day.
