The downside of there being no Blue Jays baseball yesterday is that we get two games today. A doubleheader sweep would be oh so sweet.
I’ll be at Dodger Stadium early this morning for my first volunteer shift at their vaccine site. Someone will have to comment with the lineups (or just check Erik’s morning post).

From what I'm hearing, #BlueJays believe Jordan Romano's injury will be a short-term thing and he should be back close to when his 10 days are up. Julian Merryweather is more of a long-term problem and won't be back for quite some time. Not a shock, because it's an oblique issue.

Yankees lost to the Rays, 8-2. The organization should be embarrassed. The fans should be embarrassed. I'm somehow embarrassed. This was a humiliation exercise for everyone in the ballpark who is not sporting a Rays uniform.
