It’s the Jays Home Opener, and while they are still Springer-less, Teoscar Hernandez will be given his Silver Slugger award from last year in a ceremony today.

We have some injury updates. Sadly, we won’t be seeing Springer this homestand:
Nate Pearson threw a bullpen this afternoon and “from what I hear he was fine,” says Charlie Montoyo. The big right-hander is essentially at the beginning of spring training now due to the extended down time.

TJ Zeuch likely to start tomorrow as long as things don't go crazy tonight, with Steven Matz on Saturday. No word on Sunday, which is Tanner Roark's next turn.
