GameThread Game #26: Braves at Blue Jays

Going for the sweep

I can’t remember the last time I went to post the GameThread and the lineups weren’t available yet.

We’ve had two great games in a row. Would it be asking for too much if we requested a third? I’m quite enjoying being over .500.

We have some roster moves ahead of today’s game:

  • Alejandro Kirk (left flexor strain), Tommy Milone (left shoulder inflammation), and Anthony Castro (right forearm strain) have been placed on 10-day IL
  • Ross Stripling has been reactivated off the injured list
  • Riley Adams and Anthony Kay have been recalled from Alternate Training Site

Alright, 20 minutes to game time we finally have the lineups. Thankfully Springer appears to be okay and will DH, Biggio gets a start at third, and Jansen will catch, delaying Riley Adams debut for another day.

We are glad you are here and hope you feel welcome. As a reminder, we have rules. Mostly it’s “don’t be terrible,” but these days it’s also, “please debate about baseball and not the coronavirus or vaccines.” If a moderator asks you to stop doing something, please stop. If you want to discuss the rules, don’t do it in the thread. Email Tom instead. We also have a BBB Glossary full of GameThread lingo you can find here.
