Around the Nest 2021 Week 3: The One About Some Prospects

T.J. Zeuch needs to get ANGRY

Around The Nest, the Blue Jays minor league podcast, returns again this week to talk about Blue Jays prospects and the affiliates they play for. As always, this episode is hosted by the Voice of the Vancouver Canadians Tyler Zickel, who is joined by the New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ broadcaster Tyler Murray and the Buffalo Bisons / Trenton Thunder’s Gregg Caserta, who joins the broadcast from his car driving back home from a rainout.

Episode Topics

Tyler Murray on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Double-A)

  • Jordan Groshans is back after not playing for a week as a precaution for a hamstring discomfort
  • An introduction to new Fisher Cats road broadcaster Joe Weil
  • Returning to normalcy: Fisher Cats looking forward to having a full house

  • Next Blue Jays prospect who could make an impact in the major leagues
  • One word to describe each affiliate

Bonus: Outtake

Gregg Caserta was driving and his connection was tenuous. Here is a segment where it sounded like we may have lost Gregg to aliens.
