The Jays are looking to guarantee a split with their newly executed strategy of hitting the ball over the monster. I like it.
It sounds as if Steven Matz had an inconclusive COVID test, but is symptom free and has been placed on the COVID IL anyway. Beasley is back up. Since the Jays are at 85% vaccinated now, the game can go on as scheduled.
#BlueJays say the team has undergone rapid testing and contact tracing, per MLB rules and today’s game is still happening. Jays are a team that’s at least 85 percent vaccinated

We are glad you are here and hope you feel welcome. As a reminder, we have rules. Mostly it’s “don’t be terrible,” but these days it’s also, “please debate about baseball and not the coronavirus or vaccines.” If a moderator asks you to stop doing something, please stop. If you want to discuss the rules, don’t do it in the thread. Email Tom instead. We also have a BBB Glossary full of GameThread lingo you can find here. You can Adopt-a-Jay here, and here’s a helpful tutorial on how to post images in the comments.
