GameThread Game #63: Blue Jays at Red Sox

MLB: Miami Marlins at Boston Red Sox Paul Rutherford-USA TODAY Sports

The Jays are looking to guarantee a split with their newly executed strategy of hitting the ball over the monster. I like it.

It sounds as if Steven Matz had an inconclusive COVID test, but is symptom free and has been placed on the COVID IL anyway. Beasley is back up. Since the Jays are at 85% vaccinated now, the game can go on as scheduled.

Here are today’s lineups. Davis gets a start in center, Grichuk will DH and Adams will catch this one.

Today's Lineups

Marcus Semien - 2B Enrique Hernandez - CF
Bo Bichette - SS Alex Verdugo - RF
Vladimir Guerrero - 1B J.D. Martinez - LF
Teoscar Hernandez - RF Xander Bogaerts - SS
Randal Grichuk - DH Hunter Renfroe - DH
Lourdes Gurriel - LF Christian Arroyo - 2B
Cavan Biggio - 3B Bobby Dalbec - 3B
Riley Adams - C Kevin Plawecki - C
Jonathan Davis - CF Danny Santana - 1B
Robbie Ray - LHP Martin Perez - LHP
