MLB has shared with us (or shared with Sports Logos) their uniforms for the All-Star game, and, as always, Twitter just loves them, wholeheartedly.

They kind of look like European Soccer Jerseys. Or golf shirts I guess. I’d rip off the US flag if I had one.

The National League’s are similar but white:

These are interesting to look at. Riley Adams got robbed twice. The other of the three worst mistakes was a pitch to Reese McGuire. It is not normal that ‘Overall Consistency’ is lower than ‘Overall Accuracy’.

Keith Law has put up a mock draft at the Athletic. He has the Jays picking Jay Allen, a high school outfielder from Florida. Baseball Prospect Journal has a write-up on him here. He is a ‘multi-sport’ athlete. Sounds like good speed, good eye, maybe not a lot of power but that might come.

MLB.com had one yesterday, and they had the Jays picking LHP Anthony Solometo, but they hedge their bets:

Some teams consider Solometo the best left-hander available. The Blue Jays could be the first team to take Eastern Illinois shortstop Trey Sweeney and Florida prep outfielder Jay Allen, both of whom have helium, as well as the first on New York high school catcher Joe Mack. Bednar may be the top college pitching option.
