Julian Merryweather threw a “nice and easy” side this week, per Montoyo. He’ll follow same progression as Borucki: bullpen > live BP > rehab assignment.

Also, Alejandro Kirk has joined Toronto’s triple-A affiliate in Trenton. He’s eligible to return from 60-day IL on July 1.
