Same for Alek Manoah (back contusion), who threw yesterday and is expected to make his next start for Blue Jays. Manoah's eligible to return from IL on July 26.
Atkins says a return to rotation next season to continue his development as a starter once the sports hernia issue has been resolved is "what our hope would be."
