There are little bits of Jays news:
- Thomas Hatch will start tomorrow, unless he is needed out of the bullpen today. If he does pitch today, I’m not sure what the plan will be.
- Alex Manoah is to pitch a ‘simulated game’ today, throwing 60-75 pitches and the plan is for him to make his next start for the Jays.
- The plan for the next time through the rotation will be Hatch tomorrow (unless he pitches today), Ray Tuesday, Matz Wednesday and Ryu Thursday. That puts Stripling in line for the first game in Toronto.
- I really like this idea:
#BlueJays pitching coach Pete Walker on No. 1 prospect Nate Pearson, who's working his way back in a relief role:

"It could be a shot in the arm for this bullpen to have 100 mph coming out of the 'pen. That could be a big lift."
And:
#WeAreBlueJays had 17 hits vs the Mets on Saturday. Their 41 games with 10+ hits this season are the most in the Majors. pic.twitter.com/uWZnqcSU5u

Today’s Bisons’ lineup (I want to see Kevin Smith in Toronto this year):
