GameThread Game #100: Home Opener Version 3 (Actual Home Opener)

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays at Boston Red Sox Paul Rutherford-USA TODAY Sports

The Jays are having their actual home opener tonight (does anyone know this) after being gone for nearly two years.

They’ll have a newly improved team with Brad Hand, and soon Jose Berrios and Joakim Soria joining. Hopefully a little sweep of the Royals will be the start of a lengthy win streak.

Here are tonight’s lineups. Gurriel is back, and DHing and Kirk will catch for Stripling.

Today's Lineups

ROYALS BLUE JAYS
Whit Merrifield - 2B George Springer - CF
Carlos Santana - 1B Vladimir Guerrero - 1B
Salvador Perez - C Marcus Semien - 2B
Andrew Benintendi - LF Bo Bichette - SS

Ryan O'Hearn - DH Lourdes Gurriel - DH
Michael Taylor - CF Randal Grichuk - RF
Jarrod Dyson - RF Santiago Espinal - 3B
