Jays roster move: Manoah back, Thornton to Buffalo

I forgot that a player would have to be optioned to make room for Alek Manoah.

Trent Thornton is the one who is heading back to Buffalo. Trent has a 4.58 ERA in 28 games, 3 starts for the Jays.

And Charlie tells us that, if Jose Berrios makes it to Toronto tonight, he will start tomorrow and the team will use a six-man rotation through the double-headers next week. I’d imagine Thomas Hatch is hoping Berrios’ flight is delayed.
