MLB: Baltimore Orioles at Tampa Bay Rays Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

The Jays are in Florida for the last series before the all star break. Sadly, it’s another series at the Little Trop of Horrors.

We have some (minor) injury updates:

Since he doesn’t have a start lined up until the all star break, Steven Matz will be available out of the bullpen this weekend.

Here are tonight’s lineups. Gurriel will DH.

Today's Lineups

BLUE JAYS RAYS
Marcus Semien - 2B Brandon Lowe - DH
Bo Bichette - SS Ji-Man Choi - 1B
Vladimir Guerrero - 1B Wander Franco - 3B
George Springer - CF Austin Meadows - LF
Teoscar Hernandez - LF Joey Wendle - 2B
Randal Grichuk - RF Kevin Kiermaier - CF
Lourdes Gurriel - DH Taylor Walls - SS
Cavan Biggio - 3B Mike Zunino - C
Reese McGuire - C Brett Phillips - RF
Alek Manoah - RHP Shane McClanahan - LHP

We are glad you are here and hope you feel welcome. As a reminder, we have rules. Mostly it’s “don’t be terrible,” but these days it’s also, “please debate about baseball and not the coronavirus or vaccines.” If a moderator asks you to stop doing something, please stop. If you want to discuss the rules, don’t do it in the thread. Email Tom instead. We also have a BBB Glossary full of GameThread lingo you can find here. You can Adopt-a-Jay here, and here’s a helpful tutorial on how to post images in the comments.
