The Blue Jays activated Jose Berrios and Joakim Soria. To make room Thomas Hatch and Taylor Saucedo have been sent back to Buffalo.
Chatwood and Davis were the ones who came off the 40-man to make room for them.
I was enjoying watching Saucedo. He’s taking a 2.03 ERA back to Buffalo, in 15 MLB games. Batters hit .191/.250/.340 against him, but we do have a bunch of lefties in the bullpen. I’m sure we’ll see him again.
The other news is that Vladimir Guerrero is resting today. He played in 161 straight games. He seemed to be shaking his hand a bit yesterday. He is on an eight-game hitting streak, so the hand can’t be bothering him all that much.
