We haven’t done one of these in far too long, but now that we’ve had some time to digest the trade deadline, I thought this might be a good moment.

Before the deadline, we picked up Cimber, Dickerson, Richards, Jose Berrios, Brad Hand, and Joakim Soria.

It cost us Austin Martin, Simeon Woods Richardson, Riley Adams, Joe Panik, Andrew McInvale, and Rowdy Tellez. And some PTBN.

Beyond that, well, they have put together a pretty good batting order and finally a good rotation.

They have had less luck with the bullpen, though the additions they made at the deadline have helped. It does seem that almost every reliever they pick up ends up on the IL at some point.

They have had a lot to deal with over the past couple of seasons, but hopefully, they won’t have to worry about playing home games anywhere other than Rogers Centre ever again.

I like that they have improved conditions for our minor leaguers, and improved train facilities in Dunedin. Our minor league system has improved over the last few years.
