It’s been said that the 2021 Blue Jays are very good at shaking off horrible losses and keeping calm to win the next one. Let’s hope that’s true.
The Jays traded for Mallex Smith from the Reds. It is a minor league deal, he has been assigned to the Bisons.
And Patrick Murphy was claimed off waivers by the Nationals.
The good news is that Bo is still in the lineup. Reese McGuire is playing again the lefty starter, but then Reese has been catching Hyun Jin Ryu, so that makes sense. Beyond that, it is the usual group. Hopefully today they can, you know, score.
