We have some unofficial roster moves ahead of today’s game, which may or may not be played due to weather:
Some likely #BlueJays roster moves, though they won’t be official until the game today is confirmed happening because of uncertain weather:

- Rafael Dolis DFA’d
- Kevin Smith activated
- Alek Manoah to the bereavement list
- Tim Mayza activated from 10-day IL
What happened to Dolis? Well:
From July 7th to August 8th, Rafael Dolis pitched in nine games, 9.2 innings, and didn’t allow an earned run. Struck out 13, walked five.

There was a reason he had entered the circle of trust.
Last three games since? 1 IP, 6 H, 5 ER, 5 BB, 0 K. Retired 3 of 14 batters faced.
Rafael Dolis' 1.75 WHIP is the 2nd highest in MLB this season among relievers with at least 30 innings pitched

It’s sad to see the Dolis era come to an end like this, but if they Jays want to stay in the playoff race, they cannot have multiple outings like this from a reliever.
Best wishes to Alek Manoah. I hope his family is okay.
It will be great to have Tim Mayza back, and also to have Kevin Smith get the call up. Welcome to the show, Kevin!
Will there be baseball tonight? Stay tuned! We have a lineup as of right now:
