After I posted the Jays announce Trent Thornton added, Anthony Castro subtracted.
I doubt they can top yesterday’s insanity, but I’m ok with 11 runs scoring in the ninth today. Maybe we don’t have to carry a no-hitter into the inning this time.
It has been an interesting time, we never trailed in the series in New York. Yesterday we never led until the 7th inning in both wins.
Springer gets a day of rest, after playing both halves of the doubleheader yesterday. I’d think he could be used as a pinch-hitter if needed.
Lamb plays first, Valera third, Vlad DH. Jansen catches. And Grichuk gets a start, he’s had some good at-bats lately.
I’ve been waiting for roster news, but they haven’t announced anything. Since Hatch was the 29th man, he would come off the roster. I hope his injury isn’t something that will land him on the IL. I wouldn’t be against him getting another spot start. But I suppose if he is put on the IL he’d get major-league money.
That would leave Anthony Castro on the roster. Tayler Saucedo needs to spend 10 days off before he can be added again unless there is an injury.
Our Jays’ 11-run surge in the 7th inning of G2 left BAL’s radio broadcast crew in absolute shellshocked awe.

I’m sure there were a lot of firsts come out of yesterday’s games:
FUN FACT: We are the first team in @MLB HISTORY to hit a go-ahead homer while trailing in the final inning of both games of a doubleheader. pic.twitter.com/wpZBcov4NK
