We have two weeks left in the regular season and we have meaningful baseball games happening. Can’t ask for too much more. Well, maybe a dozen more wins.
Arizona Fall League rosters are out.
The Blue Jays share the Scottsdale Scorpions with the Braves, Mets, Phillies, and Giants. Cesar Martin, who manages the Fisher Cats, is the manager.
Jays on the roster:
- Maverik Buffo, RHP
- Mike Ellenbest, RHP
- Jackson Rees, RHP
- Graham Spraker, RHP
- Cullen Large, Inf
- Kevin Smith, Inf
- Logan Warmoth, Inf
There will be changes.
The Blue Jays have 13 games left. I’m sure everyone has guesses as to how many of those 13 games they will need to win to make the playoffs. 13-0 would work I’m pretty sure, but I’d think 8-5 would do it too.
The rules for attending games at Rogers Centre are changing.
The #BlueJays just sent out updated health protocols for Sept. 28th and beyond home games (including postseason). Proof of full vaccination will be required for ALL fans 12+

"A negative COVID-19 test result will no longer be accepted, except for individuals with a doctor's note"
I think they are hoping to be allowed a full park for the playoffs if they happen in Toronto.
Well, maybe not a full park:
Also hearing they’re looking at a possible increase from 15,000 to 35,000 https://t.co/91Ji2Vc0Cg

Apparently, the plan includes opening up the 500 level.
The Rays lose one of the best arms in their pen.
#Rays have placed Andrew Kittredge, their best high-leverage reliever, on IL with neck tightness
