Tuesday Bantering: Springer sits, Dickerson hits leadoff

My son and I went to see Shang Shi, and very much enjoyed it.

Charlies says that Springer is ‘day-to-day’ and will be ‘playing banged up the rest of the way’. And that Ryu is ok after coming out with ‘arm discomfort’ last start.

I wondered if Merryweather would be activated for tonight’s game? So far they haven’t announced anything, but apparently, it could be a game-time decision.

Robbie Ray was named AL Player of the Week, for his 2 starts, 2 earned, 13.2 innings, and 20 strikeouts. Well deserved.

Ross Stripling gets a rehab start today in Buffalo, all goes well he joins the team soon after, perhaps to start one of the games of the double-header, on Saturday.

Things change in a week. I’m thinking in another week numbers will be even better:

I thought about getting one, but with it being in US dollars and with shipping, it isn’t cheap.

I would love to be able to go to Coopertown to see Larry Walker get inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. It might be a little while before the next Canadian goes in. Votto?

No surprise, but Springer sits tonight. Dickerson bats leadoff and plays CF again. Kirk DH, Lamb at third, and McGuire at catcher. I’d be ok with Vlad in the leadoff spot, but Dickerson, against the lefty, isn’t a bad choice.
