Game Sevens are special (though yesterday’s was a bit of a snore, other than watching Adolis García become a star in front of our eyes).
Garcia is an example of why you shouldn’t give up on a talented player just because he hasn’t been great at a young age. At 30, Adolis has become a star after being traded by the Cardinals for cash.
Anyway, I’m hoping for a better game tonight. Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber have been amazing. And I’m enjoying getting to see Lourdes Gurriel again. I miss him. Gabe Moreno is having a terrific playoff run, too.
The SB Nation sites have been down most of the afternoon (my fault, there was a button that said ‘Do not press’, and I’m a curious person). Of course, when things are busy, and you get a couple of hours to actually write something, it is no fun to have the site down.
