Wild Card Series - Toronto Blue Jays v Minnesota Twins - Game Two Photo by David Berding/Getty Images

The Blue Jays and Vladimir Guerrero couldn’t come to an agreement and will be going to arbitration.

Vlad is going into it with a $19.9 million number. The Jays are countering at $18.05 million (according to Shi Davidi) The arbitrator will have to pick one number or the other. He can’t choose somewhere in between. I have no feel for which the arbitrator will choose.

Of the 22 players going who didn’t agree with their teams’ on a deal, Vlad is asking for the most money.
